Morie M. Smith, Au.D.
Dr. Morie Smith is a 2012 graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and a 2016 graduate with a Doctorate of Audiology, also from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed by the State of Texas, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).
Dr. Smith’s clinical experience includes diagnostic audiology, educational audiology, fitting of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, vestibular testing, and electrophysiology testing with both the adult and pediatric populations.
She grew up in Central Texas, and is excited to be back in this area to practice and serve the needs of this region. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, who works as an internal medicine resident at Scott & White Hospital, and their three dogs, Ruger (Labrador retriever), Gump (Labrador retriever), and Luna (Lhasa Apso), as well as baking, crafting, and reading. She is a proud Red Raider, and avid San Antonio Spurs fan.
